Jordan (Fernie)

My name is Jordan. I live in Fernie B.C. I like to play all kinds of sports. Even though I have a visual impairment. My vision is so bad I may not be able to get my drivers license when I turn 16 in 2 years. My favorite sport is hockey and I am not that bad at it either. I just made a U16 team which is 20 of the best hockey players from my district. So my friends and family are very happy or me right now. In 21 games this season I have 10 goals and 21 assists for my normal hockey team that is tied for second best on my team. So you probably guessed by now after high school I want to play in the NHL for the toronto maple leafs. If I don't make it to the NHL I would like to be a construction engineer. In the next 10-20years I would hope to myself doing successful and life and have a family. Well my goals are kind of both short term and long term because this year is probably my most important hockey year. This is so because there is a bantam  draft where teams like the Vancouver Giants select kids like me and this is our first step to playing in the NHL. The thing in the world that would make the world a better place would be. I would like to a world wide peace treaty and every country become a part of the united nations. If we started with world peace this would help the world move forward on other problems like global warming. If this does not happen soon we will have no more ice left up north. The water will be heated faster because it does not have the ice to deflect the solar rays and the whole world ill become a lot hotter. The  people we should be electing for president or prime minister in Canada. Are people like Al Gore he ran against george Bush and if he would've been elected. The U.S. and Canada would probably be talking to countries about lowering oil prices instead being at war like they are and now it's just going to get worse and worse every year. Like 140 people died there a few days ago and more canadian soldiers die everyday. It didn't have to be this way.
