The Mascot

Virtual Voices Village is looking for a mascot. Can you help to design it? Competition entries can be visual art, creative writing, or a combination of the two. The winning entry will be passed on to our team of engineers and scientists to bring to life as a full 3D model. Our mascot will then travel around the province, visiting students and getting involved with future Virtual Voices Village projects.

Hurry and submit your entries. The contest closes on May 23rd, 2008,

• The following information must be included with your entry.
  What is its name?
  What is its personality like?
  What are its interests?

The more we know about the mascot, the better. Some other things you might like to think about are:
Where is it from?
What is its history?
Where does it live now?
Does it have a favourite colour?
What does it like to eat?
Who are its friends?
What is its favourite thing?
What is its least favourite thing?

Submitting your work

If you are a SET BC student of and would like enter the contest, email your submission to submissions@vvvillage.org with your files attached to the email. If your email attachment is more than 5 mb, please upload your files on a service like http://sendspace.com and make sure the recipient is submissions@vvvillage.org

All work published by minors needs to have parents/guardian's consent. If your guardian/parent has not already signed the consent form, please download the consent form here (PDF). .
